A temple of Soutou sect at Sisui town.
Something looked preventing visitors from walking through the center of the main gate. It turned out to be an order, "geba" (alight from your horse).
Today this word, "geba", is no more in use. But the word "geba hyou" (geba speculation) or (hearsay) remains.
On-line checking of the origin of this "geba hyou" indicates that;
In Edo period, a lord alighted his horse at the place of "geba" indication. His attendants who had to wait him there talked about rumors, likely winner of sumou tournament, etc. just to kill time.

Walked to Nihon-basi from Jinbo-chou after visiting Sanseidou bookstore.
Though it was as if I were Urasima Tarou#1, it is not so bad to walk through the bustling streets.
Urasima Tarou#1
A folk tale here. A young fisherman who passed nice times at a gorgeous palace deep in the sea for a while. Upon returning home, he found that his home and surroundings were all changed, and that he himself to be an old man.

Noibara at Kasima river bank near Ryujin bridge.
A kind of weeds. But its pretty flower, nice smell, and many sweet songs related to it have given it a kind of delicate image.
But its vitality is amazing.
I had gone to RC model plane field at a floodplain of Tone river almost every week for more than 10 years. The field was surrounded by noibara communities. Their barbs were so awful that we couldn't walk through them. Occasionally planes accidentaly fell beyond the colonies. It was tough to reach to the place of fall for retrieval.
Tone river flooded several times a year and the noibara got damaged seriously every time. But they recovered soon.
The river in the photo was widened twice the previous width about 10 years ago, and so far there are no noibara colonies. However I believe that this plant spreads along the river like a hedge, and eventually gets out of hand.
It is understandable that the noibara is used as rootstock of various roses, and that, in the end of Edo period, it was brought to Europe and became the basic species for breed improvement of various kind of roses.

The contractors were;
Konishi Decorative Arts and Crafts Co. and
Tanigami Shrine & Temple Co. in Wakayama.
Difference from "kokera-buki" (wood shingle roofing) is explained in Tanigami's site, here .
Visited JEF United home stadium, after a long long while.
It has been more than 20 years since the club came to this place Tiba/Soga from Itihara/Anesaki.
Just before the stadium completion, I had an opportunity to see every details from players' locker rooms to press boxes.
Number of seats; 18,500. A compact and nice stadium.
Stadiums of more than 50,000 seats are not rare. But the distance between players and spectators gets too far.
J1 League's minimum requirement is 15,000 seats. Though I feel further smaller is fine, it wont't work as a business.
It seems no one knows, today, "Furukawa Denkou Soccer Club", or even the origin of the name of JEF. JR-East and Furukawa resulted in JEF.
Displays of J E F are anyware around the stadium area, but at the same time, equal number of those of J F E are also seen. Some are confused. This is because the stadium was built on an unused land of the former Kawasaki Steel, present JFE Steel.
The Fukuari means "Fukuda Electronics Arena".
Fukuda Electronics is a medical equipment maker for electrocardiograph, AED, ultrasound imaging device, etc.
Its factory, visibly fine and large, is in Siroi Industial Complex.
JEF's promotion to J1 league at the end of last year increased the Fukuda's naming rights fee to twice that of the previous. CONGRATS!
